Quincy Wilson is on the hunt to select a university. Even though he paid an official visit to the University of Georgia, it was confirmed from his post that he has not committed to the Bulldogs yet. Wilson came fresh off his Paris Olympic stint, winning the gold as part of the men's 4x400m relay.

Wilson, the Maryland Bullis School athlete, has been making waves on the track since the beginning of 2024. He clocked 45.76s to clinch the indoor 400m win at the New Balance Nationals Indoor Nationals. The 16-year-old recorded the national high indoors record time that earned him the fourth finish in the finals at the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships.

The Virginia native also set a new meet record in the 400m by clocking 45.13 at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor. Wilson competed at the 2021 US Olympic trials, finishing sixth in 44.94 in the 400m and earning a spot in the men's 4x400m relay team. His 400m split time helped the USA qualify for the finals in Paris, but he didn't run the gold-winning feat. Nevertheless, he was awarded the gold and became the youngest track and field athlete ever.

Though not committed to the University of Georgia, Quincy Wilson recently visited the Bulldogs' home, as shared by him on Instagram.

"Go Dawgs?" his caption read.

The picture featured Wilson in a Bulldogs jersey with a large 'G' hanging around his neck, sitting on the classic black throne, and sharing the frame with coach Caryl Smith Gilbert.

On October 6, 2024, the Olympian paid an official visit to Texas A&M University but didn't commit to any college yet.

"Gig Em’??"

The pictures featured him with the ATM flag and balancing a basketball on his finger.

Quincy Wilson debuted at the Paris Games, running the preliminary but not earning a spot in the finals. Despite the disappointment, the Maryland native revealed he was not nervous but instead was a hundred percent confident going into the race. He also thanked his team, which soared to victory in a new Olympic record time of 2:54.43.

"This was a dream come true. I didn’t run my best, but I knew I had a great team on my hands. I wasn’t nervous, I was 100% myself." (via Olympics.com)

Wilson also made a couple of gold podiums in 2024, running the second-fastest all-time 600m, personal best in the 300m, and the fastest high school 400m split (4x400m) in Penn Relays history.
