Tara Davis-Woodhall is excited to watch her husband Hunter Woodhall compete at the 2024 Paralympics. Hunter is competing in his third Paralympics Games in Paris 2024 while Tara is fresh off winning the Olympic gold medal at the Summer Olympics.
Hunter is scheduled to start his campaign in the men's 100m T64 round 1 in September, and Tara expressed excitement for the sprinter's race with a post on Instagram. Claiming that Hunter had worked extremely hard through the season, she captioned the post:
"Prelims tonight. You’ve been grinding all season for this moment. Your journey begins tonight✨ let’s do this. redemption time baby 🌟"
Along with the 100m, Hunter is also scheduled to compete in the 400m race. In his first two Olympic appearances so far, the 25-year-old sprinter has won three medals, two bronze and one silver.
After a relatively disappointing campaign at the Tokyo Olympics, Tara secured a statement win in women's long jump at the Paris Olympics 2024. She was the only athlete to cross the 7m mark, winning the gold medal at 7.10m. The 25-year-old now hopes her husband achieves similar success at the 2024 Paralympics.
