Riley Gaines recently reacted to the Democrat senators voting against the Preventing Violence against Women by Illegal Aliens Act. The motion was passed by an overwhelming majority of 274 votes to 145 by the House of Representatives.
Interestingly, apart from the 213 Republican senators, 61 Democrat senators also voted in favor of the Act, which aims to bring acts of sexual crimes by illegal immigrants under control. However, 145 Democrat senators continued to oppose the act.
Gaines reacted to the situation by sharing the figures on her X handle with the caption:
"I never want to hear these misogynistic dunces tout about "women's rights" ever again."
Gaines also called out Democrat senator Alexandria Ocasio Cortez for her double standards on the issue of women's safety. She posted one of her video statements, as well as her vote against the protection of women from illegal immigrants on her X handle.
"AOC Tuesday. AOC Today," she captioned the post.
Riley Gaines previously campaigned for the exclusion of trans athletes from women's sports through the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. The bill was proposed by Republican senator William Gregory Steube and was passed by a majority of 218-206 votes, including two bipartisan votes from Democrat senators.

Riley Gaines also reacted to the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act being passed by the US House of Representatives. The act will now require the approval of the Senate before it reaches the US President, Donald Trump, who will be assuming office on January 20.
Gaines reacted positively to the development as she shared the news on her X handle with the caption:
"The Protection of Women and Girls Sports Act passes the House with 2 Texas Democrats (Gonzalez and Cuellar) voting in support making it bipartisan. On to the senate!"
In a conversation with Fox News, Gaines further emphasized why this Act was necessary.
"Men do not belong in women's sports and with the House passage of Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act we are one step closer as a nation to making sure that not one more male athlete is able to take a trophy, a roster spot, playing time, resources or opportunity to compete from a women," she said.
Riley Gaines has been campaigning for the exclusion of trans athletes from women's sports since 2022. She first came into the limelight for her campaign against the bias shown towards the transgender swimmer Lia Thomas at the 2022 NCAA Swimming Championships.
