Serena Williams' husband Alexis Ohanian reacted to Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce's upcoming stint as her hair care line, Afimi's presenter on February 1 and 2, 2025. The Jamaican sprint icon has been spending time with family, engaging in shoot campaigns and Shelly-Ann Foundation work since her Olympic setback.
Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who dominated the sprinting world from the late 2000s to the 2020s, won her debut 100m Olympic gold at the 2008 Games, defending her title in 2012, finishing with bronze in Rio and silver in Tokyo. At the 2023 World Championships, she earned the 100m bronze but suffered a hamstring injury during the 4x100m relay final. She ended her Paris Olympic podium bid for a similar reason, hurting herself before the semis.
Since then, the 28-year-old invested her time in giving back to her community through her eponymous foundation and mother duties. In a recent Instagram post, her hair care line, Afimi, announced the Olympian as the presenter at a Pop-Up in NYC from February 1 - 2, 2025.
Serena Willaims' husband Alexis Ohanian expressed anticipation for the event, commenting:
"Let's goooo"
The Olympian launched the all-natural plant-based brand in July 2024.

"Hair is your most powerful form of self-expression and has been an exciting way to reinvent myself every time I step on the track. From the main stage to the finish line, my hair has helped me set the tone for many fearless victories. That’s why it’s so important that it gets the care it needs."
She further added:
"I’ve designed these products with you in mind to keep your hair feeling and performing its best no matter what comes your way. This line is a vibrant tribute to Jamaica, inspired by its lush resources and welcoming essence — each ingredient naturally sourced from the earth to enhance your natural beauty."
