The American sprinter recently concluded her 2024 season after competing at the Paris Olympics, where she clinched two medals. After this successful campaign at the French capital, Richardson is enjoying her off-season as she begins training for the upcoming season.

In December last year, Sha'Carri announced that her brand, Flow&Go hair extensions, will soon host its launch event. On her Instagram handle on December 12, Sha'Carri posted pictures of herself and other models, showcasing their hair extensions.

"Launch after launch I’m excited and I KNOW YALL BEEN WAITING. Welcoming @flow_gohair to the world 💕 stay tuned for the official launch !"

This 24-year-old has shown off new hairstyles on several occasions, including the Olympics and World Championships.

She won her first medal in the 100m dash at the Paris Olympics, finishing second in the event after clocking 10.87s. She was bested by Julien Alfred, who recorded 10.72s to stand atop the podium. Following this, Richardson won the Olympic gold in the 4x100m relay, where she and her team clocked 41.78s, besting Great Britain and Germany, who claimed second and third place, respectively.

Sha'Carri Richardson opened up about how struggling with herself led her to rediscover herself

In an interview with Essence magazine last year, following her Paris Olympics exploits, Sha'Carri Richardson spoke about the struggles of being herself. Talking about all the thoughts she had of sacrificing herself because of her career, Sha'Carri Richardson said:

“Coming into this level of fame—I definitely had moments where I felt as if I would have to sacrifice who I am, in order to have a career, in order to be what the world had basically deemed me to be,” Richardson said.

She further highlighted that the unhappiness from not being her authentic self prompted her to get back to her true self regardless of any criticism that could come her way.

"And those moments were scary, because I’m like, If I can’t be me, I can’t even give you all what you respect and love me for. I wasn’t happy when I wasn’t being myself. But the unhappiness is what got me back to myself," she added.

Sha'Carri Richardson made her Olympic debut this year in Paris after having an unfortunate experience during the 2020 Tokyo Games. She was set to participate in the 100m dash at the Tokyo Olympics; however, Richardson was banned due to being tested positive for marijuana. The American sprinter, who was dealing with her mother's demise at that point in her life, made her return to the big stage at the 2024 Paris Olympics with the support of her friends and family.
