Sha'Carri Richardson, who recently secured her position at the Paris Olympics, has shared a new look as she gets ready to represent the US on the biggest stage. The American athlete proved her prowess in the 100m at the US Olympic trials, which was held at the Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.
The 24-year-old will be competing in the first Olympic Games of her career after her major setback in Toyo in 2021. She tested positive for marijuana intake, which eventually led to her withdrawal from the team. However, the athlete has bounced back stronger and has proved her prospect as a formidable athlete by winning the 100m race at the trials in an impressive 10.71s.
Apart from her athletic establishments, the athlete is also known for her fashion sense. She usually flaunts her hairstyles and unique nails, which are inspired by the legendary track and field athlete Florence Griffith-Joyner.
Richardson recently uploaded a video on Instagram where she showcased a new wig that was straight and black in color. Exuding confidence in her new look, the athlete wrote in the caption:

Sha'carri Richardson was recently seen sharing her favorite part of the glam in a recent video shared by Sprite in collaboration with the athlete on Instagram. She opened up about the first time she got her hair done and shared her memories from school.
"My favorite part of glam is everything," said Richardson. "I enjoy the moment of getting my hair done, I enjoy getting my face beat, I enjoy getting my nails slayed. I definitely enjoy the process because for me, I’m just sitting there and they doing all the work, and I’m the canvas."
She added:
"My earliest memory of getting my hair and nails done would be sitting in my big mama kitchen with a hot comb, getting my hair straightened for pictures for school."
Sha'Carri Richardson has always been noticed for her iconic long nails. In the video, she recalled the first time she got her nails done and opened up about how she got hooked to that.
"And my first moment getting my nails done, actually my aunt, my youngest aunt took me and went and got our nails done and I remember they were pink with a cheetah print," Sha'Carri Richardson said. "Yeah, that was a moment, but that was the first time and from there I was hooked on my nails. Nails have always been my art like they’ve always had my attention."
The 24-year-old will next be seen competing at the Paris Olympics, which is slated to be held from July 26 - August 11.
