Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce celebrated Christmas with a pineapple brown sugar-glazed ham while actively working with her eponymous Pocket Rocket foundation during the holiday season. Since ending her season at the Paris Olympics, the Jamaican has also been spending time with her son Zyon.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce amassed two Olympic golds and five World titles in her signature 100m event. Despite a persistent knee injury, she qualified for her fifth Olympic edition in 2024 Paris. However, after sustaining another injury during the warm-ups, Fraser-Pryce withdrew from the 100m semi-finals, ending her Olympic campaign.

Shortly after, the Jamaican resumed posting about her life on social media, especially about her son and the Pocket Rocket Foundation. On December 25, 2024, the 37-year-old shared a video of applying the finishing touches on the delicacy: pineapple brown sugar glazed ham.

Her caption read:

"Merry Christmas"

The story's caption read:

"Can somebody say chef Shelly?"

A couple of days ago, she posted a photo series, encompassing snaps from the preparation for Annual Christmas Treat in Ewarton through her foundation. The first picture featured the Olympian cutting open a carton of gift products, followed by the mother-and-son duo of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce and Zyon engaging in a fun-filled competition, filling items inside Nike pouches.

The second-last slide showed a red bag with 'Spirit of Christmas Annual Treat' written; the last slide was related.

"Annual Christmas Treat in Ewarton. Swipe to see my last race of the season!" the Olympic medalist captioned.

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has been involved with Nike for a while, attending the Athlete Think Tank each time since it was founded in 2022. In this year's edition, she joined promising athletes like Sanya Richards-Ross, Sue Bird, Dina Asher-Smith, Anna Cockrell, Tayla Harris, and others.

After an insightful experience at the event revolving around promoting and enhancing the experience of women across sporting domains, Fraser-Pryce reflected on it on Instagram, writing:

"Why not you? A question posed by @staceyabrams at this year’s @nike Athlete Think Tank! I have had the pleasure of being part of the ATT journey since its inception and this most recent gathering was the most impactful experience we’ve had thus far. There is so much value in coming together to have real conversations that act as catalysts for positive change, both individually and collectively, as women athletes. We all have power and the possibilities are endless." (November 11, 2024)

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce's dominance on the track earned her more global individual titles than any other female sprinter in history. Her last 100m World title win in 2019 made her the first mother in over two decades to achieve a global 100m title. The Jamaican capped off the 2023 season with the Laureus World Sports Award for Sportswoman of the Year honor.
