Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce recently flaunted her new hair as the holiday season has arrived. The athlete concluded her 2024 season after pulling out from the Paris Olympics.

2024 did not turn out as expected for the Jamaican athlete. She started her season late and competed only thrice, making her debut at the JAAA Olympic French Firay event, where she stood atop the 100m podium after clocking 11.15s. Following this, she competed in the Jamaican Championships in the National Stadium in Kingston, finishing third in the 100m event.

One of the most unexpected turns following this was the athlete's withdrawal from the Paris Olympics. Fraser-Pryce withdrew her name from the 100m semifinals, thus concluding her Olympic campaign. Currently, the Jamaican is enjoying her off season and is gearing up for the holiday season, as she has shared a glimpse of her new hair, which she got done from her own hair care brand, AFIMI.

The brand shared a video on their Instagram handle, where Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce could be seen rocking completely braided hair, and the caption read:

"Weekend ready. AFIMI start to finish💚 "

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce opened up about starting her own hair care brand

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce launched her own haircare brand, AFIMI, ahead of the Paris Olympics. The Jamaican athlete has been witnessed donning several hairstyles on the track in various competitions, and she has now her own hair care brand. She announced the commencement of her business on Instagram, where she opened up about the significance of her starting a hair care business. (as quoted by Pulse Sports.)

“Hair is your most powerful form of self-expression and has been an exciting way to reinvent myself every time I step on the track. From the main stage to the finish line, my hair has helped me set the tone for many fearless victories. That’s why it’s so important that it gets the care it needs," wrote Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Following this, she explained the features of her brand and said that it was a 'tribute' to Jamaica.

"I’ve designed these products with you in mind to keep your hair feeling and performing its best no matter what comes your way. This line is a vibrant tribute to Jamaica, inspired by its lush resources and welcoming essence — each ingredient naturally sourced from the earth to enhance your natural beauty. AFIMI, It’s for you, no matter who you are."

Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce has carried unique hairstyles multiple times, and one of them was during the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, where she competed in a green and yellow-colored hairstyle that matched the Jamaican flag.
