Short Course Swimming World Championships 2024: Schedule, where to watch, list of Americans competing and more

The Short Course Swimming World Championships 2024 is all set to start on Tuesday (Dec. 10) in Budapest. This event will be held at the Duna Arena and will feature numerous Olympians such as Leon Marchand, Summer McIntosh and Torri Huske.

The competition will continue for six days and boasts a prize pool of $2.1 million from which $10,000 will be awarded to the first-position holders of the events and the second and third-placed contestants will bag $8,000 and $7,000 respectively. Additionally, a swimmer will also receive $25,000 for clocking world record time in any event of the 2024 Short Course Swimming World Championships.

Several top swimmers from the United States will be taking part in the Short Course Swimming World Championships 2024. Torri Huske, Kate Douglass, Regan Smith, Gretchen Walsh and Lilly King are the prominent names among a few from the roster. In the men's events, Olympic medalists Carson Foster and Hunter Armstrong will be the top names to feature in the 2024 Short Course Swimming World Championships. Other names include Trenton Julien, Matt King and Kieran Smith.
