Simone Biles momentarily parted with her husband Jonathan Owens and exuded anticipation for their reunion after two weeks. Shortly after her Olympic exploits, the 27-year-old visited her under-construction 'dream home' and enjoyed quality time with the Chicago Bears' NFL safety.
Biles bagged three golds and a silver at the 2024 Games, extending her Olympic medal tally to 11. Amid juggling media appearances and Gold Over America tour updates, Biles has also been enjoying quality time with her husband, Jonathan Owens.
The Olympian recently shared an Instagram story with her husband in what appeared to be Polaroid camera captures. The caption asserted that the couple will not be physically close to each other for some time but the Olympian already awaits their reunion after weeks.
"see you in a few weeks," she wrote.
Earlier, while visiting their under-construction lakeside mansion, which has been in progress since March 2023, Biles held her husband's hand and captioned:
"Building our dream home. So lucky to do the thing called life with you."
Another story featured Biles and her husband posing for a selfie, looking up at the ceiling mirror.
They also visited a horse farm recently, having shared a romantic kiss in glistening sunshine. One of the Olympian's French bulldogs also accompanied and shared an adorable moment with one of the horses.
Jonathan Owens missed his first Hall of Fame game with the Chicago Bears to support his wife on her third Olympic edition in Paris. He was present on the sidelines, taking down scores when the Olympian performed her medal-winning maneuvers.
Jonathan Owens called Simone Biles a 'warrior' for persevering despite calf injury
On 28 July, Biles sustained a calf injury during the floor warmup. She was limping but didn't let the minor setback pull her down, and became the gymnast with the most medals at the Paris Olympics.
Owens had nothing but pride in his wife, who competed like a warrior despite the difficulty.
"Obviously, the first day when she had the injury to her calf and just her ability to persevere through that and go out there and still dominate is just amazing to watch," he shared in an interview after returning from Paris.
He added:
"My wife is a warrior. That’s the one thing I tell people because I equate it to how we are in football. You limp around and it will hurt a little bit right before. But as soon as you go, it’s like you forget about it."
Simone Biles' next big project is the Gold Over America tour, slated to commence on 16 September 2024 and end on 3 November.
