Simone Biles' former coach, Cecile Landi, recently expressed her emotions following her team Georgia GymDogs, the Georgia GymDogs, ' clash against the Florida Gators. After guiding the USA women's gymnastics team to victory at the 2024 Paris Games, coach Landi joined the GymDogs as the co-head coach
After being named the 2024 USA Gymnastics Coach of the Year for Women's Artistic Gymnastics, Landi stepped into the new role. The Georgia Gymdogs recently locked horns with the Florida Gators at the O'Connell Center on Friday, January 24, 2025.
Although the No.3 Gators led the clash with a substantial lead of 198.125 points over No.13 Georgia's 196.825 points, Biles' former coach took pride in her team's performance. This was the highest score the team posted so far in the 2025 season after making its season debut on January 12, 2025.
Landi shared a picture of the score on her Instagram story and wrote:
"Proud of these ladies," adding a black and red heart.
The GymDogs collected 49.325, 49.150, 49.350, and 49.000 points on vault, bars, beam and floor, respectively. Landi's squad will next compete against Alabama on January 31, 2025, in the SEC home action at Stegeman Coliseum, in Athens, Georgia.

Simone Biles was recently seen delighting and supporting the Georgia GymDogs during their faceoff against Florida. The GymDogs recently shared a snap of the legendary gymnast backing the college team. Landi reshared the picture on her Instagram story and wrote:
"Thanks Simone," adding two emojis of face with a heart.
Biles was also at a previous GymDogs clash against Boise State on Friday, January 17, 2025, held at the UGA Coliseum Training Facility in Athens. The multiple-time Olympic gold medalist was seen cheering for her former coach Cecile Landi's team while donning a red pullover Georgia jacket.
She graced the arena with her husband and NFL Safety Jonathan Owens during the Geogis Gymnastics Olympic Night and Alumni Night. The GymDogs bested the Broncos with a decisive lead of 196.825-193.600 points.
Under Landi's guidance, Simone Biles won six Olympic medals, including two golds at the 2016 Rio Games, a silver and a bronze at the Tokyo Games, and one gold and three silver medals at the Paris edition.
