Simone Biles' coach, Cecile Landi, reflects on the pressure in coaching the star gymnast
Simone Biles' journey brought new perspectives and challenges for her coach, Cecile Landi, who credited the decorated gymnast for reshaping her understanding of mental health and the coaching process.
Landi also acknowledged the challenges that she had to face while coaching the gymnast, saying:
"When we started coaching Simone, I would say that we had a different kind of pressure because everyone was waiting for us, maybe, to mess up. ‘How can you get her better? How can you make her better?’ I don’t know, but she can do more. And she did."(Olympics.com)
