Simone Biles former coach Cecile Landi's daughter makes her feelings known towards her mother as she leads the team first time in collegiate circuit

Simone Biles' former coach Cecile Landi's daughter Juliette recently expressed her pride as her mother led the new team during their first meet in the 2025 NCAA season. After coaching at the World Olympic Gymnastics Academy till 2017, Landi moved to Texas to join the World Champions Center to train elite gymnasts, including Biles, in 2017.

Cecile led the American Women's Gymnastics squads at the 2016 Rio, 2020 Tokyo, and 2024 Paris Games. Following the recent Olympics, she signed as the head coach for the University of Georgia Women's Gymnastics Team, which competed in the first meet of the 2025 season on January 12, at the Denver Quad Meet held in Colorado.

It was the first meeting under the guidance of Cecile Landi. Ahead of the meet, her daughter expressed her pride and emphasized the coach's wish of wanting to lead a collegiate team for a long while.

@cecilelandi first meet!!! So proud and excited for you," Juliette Landi wrote. "I remember how you've wanted to be a college coach in the future and I cannot believe this time is now!! I can't wait to cheer on all the girls today!! Good luck girls!!"

Cecile shared her daughter's heartfelt message on her Instagram story and added two emojis blowing a kiss.

The Georgia Bulldogs settled in second-to-last position after bagging 195.975 points.

After competing in gymnastics competitions and spending a brief amount of her childhood in the gym, Juliette took up diving during the COVID-19 phase. The French-American diver recently committed to Auburn University. Following this, her mother conveyed her pride and excitement.

"SHE DID IT 🧡💙🦅 Since a very young age, growing up in the gym, surrounded by Olympians and NCAA athletes, she’s been dreaming of her own goals. This year, she made those dreams a reality! This summer, she competed at the Paris Games, and tonight, she signed to study and compete at Auburn University! She’ll join the @auburndiving @auburnswimdive team next summer/fall!"

Cecile Landi added:

"We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what the future holds! We love you ❤️"

Juliette represented the French squad at the 2024 Games. She competed in the synchronized 3m event with her partner Nais Gillet and settled in eighth place.
