Simone Biles and husband Jonathan Owens answer couples questions ft. who's the best dressed

Simone Biles and her husband Jonathan Owens shared their answers to a series of typical couples questions following their appearance at the Sports Illustrated Awards Day. The American gymnast was crowned Sportsperson of the Year 2024 at the event.

Biles and Owens were speaking in an interview with SI, and when asked who was the best athlete among them, the Chicago Bears safety pointed towards the 11-time Olympic medalist and claimed he wasn't able to do the backflips.

"I'm not doing no backflips," he said, making Biles burst in laughter.

The gymnast gave the honor of a better cheerleader to Owens and said she lost track of the NFL Games after the first half.

"Jonathan, he knows me more and he really pays attention. After the first half, I lose track of the game," she said

Owens agreed and revealed that the gymnast would have no idea of the happenings in the match.

"I'll be locked in. She'll hear everybody else yelling and she'll be like what happened," he said.

The 29-year-old was also in awe of the gymnast's cooking skills and admitted that she was better than her.

"I've been coming home, the house has been smelling great. I ain't gonna lie my last she holding it down okay," she said.

Biles returned the favor and praised her husband's dressing sense.

"I would say you for now. I just wear sweats okay," Simone Biles said.

The couple started dating in 2020 after meeting on an online dating app, Raya. Owens surprised the gymnast with a marriage proposal two years later before tying the knot in two separate ceremonies in April and May 2023.

However, the couple didn't get much time to spend together following their marriage due to athletic commitments as Biles prepped for the World Championships and Olympic Games while Owens continued his NFL career with the Green Bay Packers and now the Chicago Bears.

Following a triumphant campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics, Simone Biles' long-distance relationship with Jonathan Owens finally came to an end as she started living with her husband Jonathan Owens in Chicago and claims her life now revolves around football.

"Nowadays, my life kind of revolves around football. So [Chicago Bears games are] when I get to unwind, have some fun, go support my husband and just learn more about football. So that’s kind of what it looks like these days,” Simone Biles told Essence.

Biles has been to nearly all of the Owens' games since the end of her Gold Over America Tour on November 3 and rocked up customized outfits in support of the Chicago Bears and their star safety.
