Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens gifts new house to his mother ahead of 2024 NFL season

Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens gifted a new house to his mother, Arthurine Cannon before the 2024 NFL season commences in September. While building a new house together with his wife in Houston, Texas, the Chicago Bears NFL player surprised his mother with a wholesome gift.

Simone Biles won her ninth National title at the 2024 Xfinity US Gymnastics Championships. For the second time after her US Classic all-around title-winning occasion, she was cheered on by her husband from up close. On the other hand, the couple's dream house is in progression, which the two-time Olympian shared photos of recently in her Instagram.

In one of her Instagram stories, Simone Biles proudly said that she had the 'cutest mother-in-law'. In Owens' recent Instagram post, he had the same to say but in a unique manner. The recently-signed Chicago Bears safety gifted a house to his mother for her undying support for her son and the relentless sacrifices she made.

In her Instagram, he was seen signed the official papers, captioning the post as:

"Amazing feeling man being able to buy your mom a house, for all the sacrifices. She deserves everything"

Beaming with happiness, Owens felt like a proud son for having extended love to his mother with a heartwarming gesture.

In the comments, many people lauded his genuine gesture, calling him a 'great son & husband'. Even his wife, the four-time Olympic gold medalist, couldn't help celebrating her husband's phenomenal milestone achievement. Her comment read,

"so proud of you baby"

Recently, the athletic couple celebrated their mothers on Mother's Day, when Jonathan Owens simplistically wished Cannon, posting a picture of his wedding day on Instagram.

Simone Biles and Owens tied their nuptial knot in April 2023 after having dated for four years. The couple first virtually met on Raya, the dating app, in 2020. After taking their relationship and newer heights by considering marriage, the seven-time Olympic medalist visited Owens' mother, Arthurine Cannon.

That moment was life-changing for after seeing her then-fiance treating his mother like men should ideally women. In an interview with E News, Biles reminisced about the time she knew Owens was the one.

"I knew he was the one when I first met his mom. She has a little bit of a disability with her walking, she's gotten a lot stronger, but how he treated his mother and how he treats women, I was like, 'Wow.'"

The most decorated gymnast had her then-fiance go down on his knees in February 2022, proposing to her for marriage.
