She initiated this step for celebrating the Olympians, which was limited to just the women gymnasts for the first edition but also included males in the second edition.
Along with Biles, the women's team includes Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Joscelyn Roberson, and Hezley Rivera. The men's contingent comprises of Paul Juda, Brody Malone, Fred Richard, Shane Wiskus, and Yul Moldauer. All of the aforementioned gymnasts are currently preparing for their next performance in Milwaukee, which is scheduled for September 29.
Simone Biles' husband Jonathan Owens, who is currently in the middle of his NFL season with the Chicago Bears, surprised the 27-year-old with a visit during one of her practice sessions at the Fiserv Forum. Not only did Owens visit, but he also became a part of the session, as he was seen learning dance steps from Jordan Chiles in a recent story posted by Simone Biles on Instagram.
"Learning the tourdances," the 27-year-old captioned her story.
Simone Biles reveals the reason behind getting Jonathan Owens' initials tattooed
Simone Biles recently made an adorable gesture for her husband, Jonathan Owens, by getting his initials tattooed on her ring finger. She revealed the reason behind the gesture in an interview with Access Hollywood's Scott Evans. The gymnast said that Owens also has a tattoo of her initial, and she reciprocated the love by getting the tattoo for him. She added that the gesture was very "sentimental' and wanted to give her husband a "big surprise."
"It's very sentimental and he also has an 'S' on his ring finger as just an ode to me," Simone Biles said. "He loves me so much and I love him and I knew that it would be such a big surprise. I actually called him the other day because we tattoed in Arizona after the show literally two days ago."
She added:
"I wanted to surprise him because he already got his and I kept telling him no I'm not doing it. So he actually woke up in the middle of the night and I had just landed in San Francisco and he was like "I am going to cry."
Following their Milwaukee performance, Biles and the Gold Over America Tour will be seen performing on Newark, which is slated for October 01, 2024.
