Simone Biles' husband sealed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears early in 2024. He missed the Hall of Fame Game, his first with the Bears team, and traveled to cheer his wife on at the Paris Olympics. Following that, he also stopped by to show support while the latter was on the Gold Over America tour.
After the NFL season kicked in, the 30-time Worlds medalist has been frequently visiting her husband's games. She even spent her Thanksgiving in an NFL arena, cheering from the sidelines when the Bears went up against the Detroit Lions.
Last Monday, before the game against the Vikings, Jonathan Owens shared an adorable moment with his wife, embracing her and doing a special handshake. A video of this exchange was posted by ESPN on Instagram and has received nearly 180,000 likes since it was posted.
It also garnered the attention of Owens, who used the video to express his love for Biles with a romantic comment. Owens wrote:
"Forever locked in with my baby."
In a recent interview, the Olympian shared that her husband thoroughly enjoys playing during the holidays. She said (via eonline),
"I think it's just so special. It just puts a fire in Jonathan's heart because he wants to play well, and he knows that everybody sits around the living room and each of the families is watching this. He is so excited because that was one of his dreams to make it to the NFL and be playing on these holidays. So, he’s super grateful and passionate about that.”
Biles and Owens got married in April 2023.

Since moving to Chicago with her husband Jonathan Owens, Simone Biles has been spending more time with the latter and enjoying outings with fellow NFL wives. Shortly after the Bears' loss against the Niners, Owens shared a picture of the couple with Biles in a black furry jacket and blue denim, and Owens in a grey jacket and pants, paired with a pastel pink jumper.
Posting a picture on his Instagram, the NFL safety said he and his wife resembled the characters Ghost and Tasha from the TV series, Power.
He captioned the post:
"They say we dressed like Ghost and Tasha"
The Chicago Bears will next face the Detroit Lions on December 22, 2024.
