Simone Biles' husband, Jonathan Owens, NFL team Chicago Bears' Safety, has reacted to opening his season with a win. He earlier played with the Green Bay Packers team and joined the Bears in 2024.
Owens made his first touchdown for his new team on September 8, as the Bears beat the Tennessee Titans. Owens scored a stellar touchdown during the match by picking up the loose ball from a blocked punt and running it 21 yards. With his touchdown, the Bears cut the deficit from 17-3 to 17-10 in the third quarter. Following this, the Bears were able to carry that momentum and take the game 24-17.
Owens took to his Instagram after his team attained victory, sharing a series of photos from his touchdown and a video that showed the moment in full.
Expressing his feelings after the win, Owens wrote:

Biles wrote:

Be it the NFL or the Olympics, the couple cheers each other on in their respective sport. Owens was present to cheer on his wife during the gymnastics competition at the recently concluded 2024 Summer Games.

Owens took special permission from his team to attend the Paris Olympics for Simone Biles' performances, as he would be missing training camp. The 29-year-old signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears and spoke about visiting Paris with his agent at the time he signed the contract.
The NFL player's team will next be competing against the Houston Texans on September 15, while Biles will be heading the Gold Over America Tour, which is scheduled to start on September 17.
