Simone Biles offered her take on what girls mean when they state they've wanted something for a very long time, claiming it generally means just two weeks. Biles has been spending her holidays with her husband in Chicago amid the NFL season.

Biles had a successful campaign in Paris this year, winning three gold medals in the team, all-around, and vault events and a silver on the floor exercise. She then embarked on the Gold Over America tour with her fellow Olympians, traveling to different cities in the USA to showcase their gymnastics prowess. After the tour's completion on November 3, 2024, the 27-year-old became a constant on the NFL sidelines, cheering on her husband as he played with his new team, the Chicago Bears.

On December 25, 2025, amid Christmas celebrations, she took to her Threads handle to share her thoughts on what girls mean when they say they've wanted something for a long time. Biles wrote:

"When a girl says they’ve been wanting something for sooooo long it usually means 2 weeks."

On Christmas day, Biles shared an Instagram story with her husband, expressing disappointment over the latter having to report to the hotel for his upcoming game against the Seattle Hawks.

"Christmas looks a lil different when ya man gotta report to the hotel."

In a recent appearance on the Kelly Clarkson Show, the 11-time Olympic medalist shared that she usually spends a tropical Christmas with her family in Belize.

"I want to be in a bathing suit and we used to actually go away for Christmas to Belize." (4:42)

Some of Biles' off-mat appearances in 2024 were as a presenter at the CMA Awards, attending the New York Fashion Week, the US Open finals, and being a playoff advisor for Snoop Dogg's team on The Voice.

Having signed a two-year contract with the Chicago Bears, Owens attended the Paris Olympics to cheer on his wife, missing out on the Hall of Fame game. After the latter's success, he embarked on his journey with his new team and Simone Biles started frequenting his games.

In a recent interview with Olympics.com, she shared that her husband is superstitious about getting good wishes from her before his games.

"I know it means so much to him for me to be able to go and support his games. For him, it means a lot for me to go on the sideline before because he says that's his pre-game routine. So he's always looking for me on the sideline to give him, like, good luck vibes and wishes. That's just his superstition."

Biles and Owens have been together since 2020 after they met on Raya, a dating app. The couple got married in 2023 and soon moved to Houston, Texas.
