American gymnast Simone Biles recently proposed a question on why cheerleaders are unable to perform a famous skill completely. The 27-year-old posted her thoughts on social media.

Biles was an honorary cheerleader for the NFL team Houston Texans in 2017. Moreover, the gymnast often attends her husband and NFL player Jonathan Owens’ team Green Bay Packer’s matches where she gets to observe cheerleaders.

Biles has now mentioned a certain cheerleading skill she observed was missing among cheerleaders. The 11-time Olympic medalist wrote her thoughts on Instagram’s Thread app.

Biles said,

“why can’t cheerleaders do a proper standing full”

One of the most decorated Olympic gymnasts, Biles competed at her first Olympic Games in 2016. She grabbed 5 medals, 4 golds and 1 bronze, at the Rio Games. A few months before the Games took place, she announced the Texans' fourth and fifth round draft picks.

The next year, Biles became the first-ever honorary Houston Texans cheerleader. The gymnast is a long-time fan of her hometown city’s NFL team.

At the recent concluded Summer Olympics in Paris, the 27-year-old bagged 3 gold and 1 silver medal, making her the US gymnast with the most Olympic medals.

Simone Biles was first invited as a guest of the Houston Texans two years before her cheerleading experience. In 2015, she clicked a picture with the cheerleading team and shared her thoughts on X (formerly Twitter).

In 2017, she was invited by the Houston Texans team to be an honorary cheerleader. Biles reportedly underwent two practice sessions with the cheerleading team. Biles made her cheerleading debut at the Houston Texans vs San Francisco 49ers game at NRG Stadium and wore custom-made red boots on the occasion.

She later spoke about her experience in an interview with RT.com.

Biles said,

"They've been so helpful in and out of practice, sending me videos and all that and even just today, they're like, 'Let's go over this.' They're so helpful in telling me how the crowd's going to react and how loud it's going to be so to not pay attention because you can get distracted."

However, in that game, the Texans lost to the 49ers 16-26.
