Simone Biles reacts to "gossip girl" Aly Raisman's New York Fashion Week appearance

Simone Biles responded to Aly Raisman attending the New York Fashion Week. Both have been members of the USA women's gymnastics team and played a huge role in the team attaining a bunch of medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics.

While Biles has still been competing, the same cannot be said about Raisman, who took up commentary and analyst roles earlier this year.

The 30-year-old took to Instagram to share several pictures of herself at the New York Fashion Week, with her caption reading:

"Fashion weeeeek."

Simone Biles commented under Raisman's post on Instagram, stating:

"Okay gossip girl."

The 27-year-old had an impressive outing at the Paris Olympics, winning four medals. These included the all-round, vault, and team events. She also won silver in the floor exercise event.

Simone Biles spoke to Aly Raisman not long after her heroics at the Paris Olympics. Raisman, who was working for NBC during the quadrennial event, asked the 27-year-old how she was different after the Paris Games than before.

Biles said that she entered the French capital with a sense of calmness she never had before a tournament. She also said that she was happy that the competition was over because of the stress involved.

"Actually, arriving in Paris, I felt this sense of calm that I've never had before for a competition. But I think you know, like, we're so prepared and we're ready, and the hard part is over and this is the easy part, (not) physically, more mentally," Biles said, as quoted by Olympics.com

"But once I got into the Village, I think that's when all the nerves set in. So, going into it, not so nervous. Coming out, it's just like a breath of fresh air. I feel so much better now that it's over because you know how stressful it is. So, I just couldn't wait for it to be done," she added.

Simone Biles and Aly Raisman both impressed at the Rio Olympics in 2016, being part of the team that won the team event. While Biles won gold in the all-around and floor exercise tournaments, Raisman clinched silver in both competitions.
