Simone Biles was recently seen spending some off-time in Charlotte amid the ongoing Gold Over America Tour. This event started on September 16, 2024, a few weeks after the conclusion of the gymnast's Paris Olympics campaign.
Biles dominated the 2024 Summer Games with four Olympic medals, of which three were gold and one was silver. She clinched her first gold in Paris in the team all-around event, where she and her team, which included Jordan Chiles, Hezly Rivera, Jade Carey, and Suni Lee, registered a score of 171.296, to defeat Italy and Brazil, who claimed second and third place, respectively. The gymnast bagged her second gold in the individual all-around event, where she attained 59.131 points, trouncing Rebeca Andrade and Lee.
Her third gold medal came in the women's vault where she posted 15.300 points, surpassing both Andrade and Carey. Following this, she won a silver medal in the floor exercise, where she scored 14.133 points, and was bested by Andrade, who attained 14.166 points. Days after these victories, Biles launched the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour, to celebrate the Olympians.
This event was initially a celebration only for women gymnasts; however, this year, men gymnasts such as Paul Juda, Fred Richard, Brody Malone, Shane Wiskus, and Yul Moldauer are also a part of the team. The event recently took place in Charlotte on October 9, and the 27-year-old was seen rejuvenating following this performance, enjoying quality time with herself and her team members.
She shared a collage on her Instagram story, which carried pictures that showcased Biles sitting beside the pool with a book and a drink. She also shared pictures of her teammates chilling and wrote:

Simone Biles opened up about becoming an inspiration for the next generation through the Gold Over America Tour
Simone Biles recently appeared in an online interview with NESN, where she opened up about her mindset behind the Gold Over America Tour. The American gymnast appreciated the fan interaction and said it was one of the biggest support systems of their careers. She also exuded excitement at being able to leave some inspiration for the next generation.
"It's big that it puts gymnastics on a stage like we've never seen before it's gymnastics meets a concert but as you pointed out the fan interaction is so important as well yes 100% because they've supported us on our careers for so long," said Simone Biles.
"So, it's such a blessing that we're able to put on a show like this to give back even if it's just a little bit of inspiration and waving to them and um just so that again they feel seen and heard."
She further added:
"But, it really is so exciting because whenever we're at the Olympics, we're really really stressed we have a job to do but here it's all fun that's all we're here to do is to have fun, inspire the Next Generation, tell our stories and hopefully leave everyone with a piece of gold."
Simone Biles and her team will next be seen performing at Sunrise on October 11. This is the 17th stop of the Gold Over America Tour.
