Simone Biles shared that house meetings, encompassing landscaping plans, pool plans, audio, and security have kept her occupied. She also shared the progression of her marble kitchen which will soon be ready. Fresh off her 2024 Paris Olympic Campaign, the gymnast appeared to be tackling her 'dream home' project she has been building with her husband over the past year.
Simone Biles, 27, recently extended her Olympic medal tally to eleven, surpassing Shannon Miller's US record of seven Olympic medals. She won three golds in team, all-around, and vault and walked home as one of the most decorated Olympians of the 2024 Games.
Biles has kept her social media fans updated about the progression of her new home over the past year. She first started documenting the journey in September 2023, when only the bare bones were in place. Some time back, a series of Instagram stories showed that black and white-marbled countertops, white cabinets, and drawers had been installed in the kitchen.
Simone Biles also posted pictures of a grand walk-in shower, a furniture-less room, and a massive walk-in closet with several drawers and shelves. Recently, she posted two Instagram stories to show the progress of the kitchen and shared that house meetings keep her busy nowadays.
She posed for a mirror selfie in the first story and captioned:
"House meetings all day. landscaping plans, pool plan, audio & security, etc."
The following story featured the kitchen (nearly completed), where geometrical lamp holders hung from the ceiling, and the cabinets and floor tiles were also in place.
"so excited to make this house a HOME a couple more months :)" she captioned.
In November 2023, Biles faced a minor setback when she took a trip to the construction site. Though she didn't post the details, the Olympian shared that her father and Jonathan Owens had taken care of the issue.
