Simone Biles shares harsh reality of celebrating Christmas with husband Jonathan Owens ahead of game day

Simone Biles recently shared a harsh reality of her Christmas celebration with her husband, Jonathan Owens. The gymnast wrapped up her year after competing at the Paris Olympics and then, performing in the Gold Over America Tour.

The 27-year-old proved her billing as a formidable gymnast at the Paris Olympics as she delivered staunch performances and won four medals in the event. Following the successful campaign, the gymnast launched the second edition of the Gold Over America Tour and almost two months after the conclusion of the tour, the gymnast is celebrating the holiday season.

However, Simone Biles' Christmas was not usual this time. She shared a picture of a hotel room with Owens on her side and said that the NFL player was supposed to report to the hotel as he has a game upcoming against the Seattle Seahawks. Sharing her celebration, she wrote:

"Christmas looks a lil different when ya man gotta report to the hotel."

The gymnast won her first gold medal of the Paris Olympics in the team all-around event, where she and her team scored a total of 171.296 points, besting Italy and Brazil. Following this, she won a gold medal in the individual all-around event, where she earned a score of 59.131 points.

Biles' third gold medal was in the vault exercise, where she earned a score of 15.300 points. She also won a silver medal in the floor exercise.

Simone Biles has been a constant supporter of her husband, Jonathan Owens, and is usually present on the sidelines to cheer him on during his game day. She frequently visits his games in stunning outfits. In every game, she dons a new customized outfit with sometimes Owens' name written on it, sometimes completely designed as a Chicago Bears' outfit.

The 27-year-old opened up about how her outfits are designed in an interview with Olympics.com and said that she plays no role in designing them. She just chooses the creators and asks them to surprise her.

"Honestly, I reach out to some of the creators that make the apparel, and I have no ideas. I let them kind of freeball it, and I say, 'Surprise me.' And then that's how I piece them together," said Biles.

Revealing the favorite outfit, she added:

"My favorite one so far is one that I haven't worn yet, and I'm wearing it to Thursday's game."
