Simone Biles is currently in the middle of a one-week break from the second iteration of her ‘Gold Over America' tour. The gymnast had a busy year with the 2024 Paris Games, where she won four medals for the US. The 27-year-old also made time to make frequent visits to her under-construction 'dream home' in Texas.
Biles's 2024 season began in May at the U.S. Classic in Hartford, Connecticut. After winning the all-around title at the Classic, the American went on to sweep the golds in all five events at the Nationals before dominating at the Trials.
The 27-year-old then went on to compete at the Paris Olympics, winning the team, all-around, and vault gold medals, as well as a silver medal in the floor event. While her competitive season ended with the Games, Biles is still leading a busy schedule.
Immediately after Paris, she embarked on the second version of her Gold Over America Tour, which will run for a total of 32 shows. The latter half of the year has even seen the release of the second part of her Netflix documentary, Simone Biles Rising.
Now, while on break from the ‘GOAT' tour, the Olympic gold medalist paid a visit to her nearly completed home in Texas that she will share with her husband Jonathan Owens. She shared some snaps of the house, which included an under-construction pool, a nearly done garage, and a completed kitchen and laundry room. Biles captioned her collage of photos,
“Obviously had to check on the progress at the new house.”
Simone Biles reveals her new house dictates her ‘For You Page’ on social media
Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens first broke ground on their Texas home in September 2023, soon after their destination wedding in Cabo. Since then, Biles has shared regular updates with fans about the house, letting them know about the good and the bad.
In fact, Biles has been so busy with the construction of her new house that her ‘For You Page' on various media platforms usually consists of house decoration videos. While on the Gold Over America Tour, the gymnast played ‘Goat’s Goat’ game alongside Jordan Chiles and revealed the contents of her FYP, saying,
“Me and my husband are building a house. So I like watching, like decorating houses, the process.”
After her week-long break, Simone Biles will get back to the ‘GOAT’ Tour on October 27 in Ohio, with the tour scheduled to come to a close on November 3.
