Simone Biles, Olympic and World Championship gold medalist, recently shared with fans an adorable snap of her dogs cheering for her husband Jonathan Owens' NFL team the Green Bay Packers.
Biles has two pet French Bulldogs, a female named Lilo and a male named Rambo. The gymnast often shares pictures of her dogs with fans, and someone even brought cardboard cutouts of her pets when she was competing at the Tokyo Olympics.
Lily and Rambo also have their own Instagram account, thebilesfrenchies, which has nearly 75k followers. In the most recent update that Simone Biles shared with her fans, the two can be seen cheering for the Green Bay Packers.
Both the French Bulldogs are dressed in Packers merchandise and are gazing into the camera looking adorable. Biles shared the photo to her Instagram story and captioned it,
“The dogs are ready for this weekend, GO PACK GO”
The Green Bay Packers, for which Biles' husband Jonathan Owens is a safety, will be playing the Dallas Cowboys in the upcoming days in the NFL wild-card weekend playoffs. The gymnast had been understandably excited for the match and has been active on social media rooting and cheering for her husband's side.
Simone Biles nominated for People's Choice Athlete of the Year
Meanwhile, Simone Biles has kicked off her 2024 on an exciting note, with a nomination for the People’s Choice Athlete of the Year award. While Biles has previously been awarded the People's Choice Game Changer thrice, this is her first nomination for the Athlete of the Year.
This honor for the gymnast comes on the back of a stunning year that saw her prove exactly why she's one of the best gymnasts the world has ever seen.
In 2023, Biles made her much-awaited return to competitive gymnastics, in August, at the US Classics. There she finished on the podium in four different events, winning three golds and a bronze.
Next, the 26-year-old went on to compete on the international stage at the Antwerp Artistic Gymnastics World Championships. While in Belgium, Biles clinched four golds and a silver. Her top-of-the-podium finish in the all-around made her the first gymnast to win that event a decade apart, having won her first all-around title in 2013 in the same city.
The American is joined by sporting superstars Coco Gauff, Giannis Antetokounmpo, LeBron James, Lionel Messi, Sabrina Ionescu, Stephen Curry and Travis Kelce in her nomination for Athlete of the Year.
