rSimone Biles' sister Adria Biles has reacted to the gymnast turning heads at the Sports Illustrated Awards. The seven-time Olympic champion was in attendance to receive the Sportsperson of the Year 2024 award.
Biles arrived at the awards function in a glittering mini dress and was accompanied by husband Jonathan Owens, sister Adria, and parents, Ronald and Nellie Biles. The eleven-time Olympic medalist was elated to attend the event with her family, as she put up a compilation of pictures from the night captioned:
“A night to remember…✨”
Adria Biles, who accompanied the gymnast at the show, showered the gymnast with love, writing:
“sister 💗"
The Biles sisters have shared a tight bond over the years, with Simone acting as Adria’s mother during their time in foster care. They were later adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles, who supported their decision to pursue gymnastics.
While Simone Biles has now arguably become the greatest of all time after starting at the age of six, Adria started her training when she was nine. After nearly a decade of competing, she left the sport in 2016.
The 25-year-old was competing in level 9 during the time and as per Simone, she left gymnastics because of frequently being compared with her. She has since transformed into a dancer and was part of the Houston Astros dance team in 2022.
