Simone Biles called out Donald Trump voters for electing him as the US President. The three-time Olympian supported US Vice President and Democratic candidate, Kamala Harris, which came to the fore on Election day.
Biles missed out on her opportunity to make it to any gold podiums at the Tokyo Olympics but restored her top position by winning three golds and a silver in the Redemption tour in Paris. After her successful Olympic exploits, the 27-year-old headlined the Gold over America tour, performing across 30 US cities with her fellow Olympians. Soon after it concluded on November 3, 2024, Biles let her support known for the Democrat candidate, Kamala Harris, ahead of Election Day on November 5, 2024.
She took to her Threads account and wrote:
"let’s go kamala mamala"
However, after the result of Republican candidate Donald Trump's victory was announced, she expressed disappointment, pointing out the history of sexual abuse allegations against the former. She shared a story on her Instagram that read:
"Over 71 million voted for a President that's been found liable for sexual abuse"
She called out Trump voters in her story caption, reading:
"This y'all?" she wrote with nauseated emojis and a pointing finger.

Biles also addressed the disappointing end to Election Day on her X account, pleading with President Joe Biden to 'shake' things up before he leaves the White House on January 20, 2025.
"Mr Biden, I need you to stand up, straighten your back and make some things shake before your departure. xoxo the women in America,"
Biles' two other Thread posts read:
"I'm SO sorry America" and "We deserve better" with a heart emoji.
Simone Biles shared her thoughts on the outcome of the presidential election

Simone Biles was a victim of sexual abuse during her time at the USA Gymnastics, and testified to the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, blaming the system for covering up Dr. Larry Nassar's ill deeds. Cut to 2024, she was in shock when most of the US citizens elected a 'convicted felon' (via Instagram story) over a woman in the Presidential election, as evident in her Instagram story.
Her caption read:
"F*****G INSANEEEEE"

She responded to a post reading:
"supporting a convicted felon over a woman in f*****g insane"
The Simone Biles Rising Part One, released in July 2024, revolved around Biles' Tokyo Olympics heartbreak and how 'twisties' was a 'trauma response' to her past experiences. The second part of her eponymous docuseries, released on October 25, covered her journey from the Olympic trials to the Paris stage.
