Olympic champion Simone Biles recently talked about her Christmas celebrations with her husband Jonathan Owens. The American gymnast spilled beans on how she would celebrate the festival amidst the busy schedules of her husband, who represents the Chicago Bears in the NFL league.
In an exclusive interview with the Olympics Gymnastics channel on YouTube, Biles was asked how she would celebrate Christmas, given that Owens would be busy in the NFL. The gymnast replied,
"Honestly, just the two of us. Nothing crazy, um, we're going on vacations next year, so we can't even do a Christmas this year. Honestly, just relaxing, and then we've to come back to downtown to report to the hotel. "
Jonathan Owens recently took part in the NFL game against the Detroit Lions. The Bears lost the game by 17-34, their ninth loss in a row. The Chicago Bears will now face the Seattle Seahawks in their next NFL game on Boxing Day, i.e. December 26.
Simone Biles had a great outing at the Paris Olympics, where she won three Olympic gold medals and a silver, taking her medal tally to eleven and making one of the most successful American gymnasts of all time. She also successfully conducted the second season of the 'Gold over America Tour', just after the Paris Olympics.
Simone Biles speaks about her favorite Christmas celebrations
A few weeks ago, Simone Biles opened up on her favorite Christmas celebrations. In a conversation on the popular talk show 'The Kelly Clarkson Show', Biles was asked about what would she choose to become between the elves of Santa Claus or his reindeer. The American gymnast cheekily replied,
"I'm the perfect height for an elf. I can't lie."
However, that wasn't all. Biles also revealed the first installment of 'Home Alone' continues to be one of her favorite Christmas movies, and she tried some of the traps as shown in the movie!
In another interview with E! News, Biles shared her plans for the upcoming season of 2025. In her words,
"Besides relaxing and going on a couple of vacations with my husband, I'm really just trying to be involved in the community as much as I can as well as giving back."
Simone Biles will be hoping to improve her position in the upcoming season of 2025. Though she hasn't confirmed her appearance at the Los Angeles Olympics in 2028, the American gymnast hasn't denied the possibility either.
