Dulcy Caylor, a 17-year-old gymnast who trains at the WCC, will also head to the Paris Olympics after her parents gifted her a trip to Paris. She will watch the major WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics) events in person and take inspiration for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, where she will likely compete for the first time.

Caylor trains with the four-time Olympic gold medalist, Simone Biles, at the World Champions Center, the gymnasium set up by the latter's parents, Ron and Nellie Biles. The 17-year-old recently competed at the 2024 Jesolo Trophy, where she swept the team bronze, coming sixth in the uneven bars, seventh in the all-around, and eighth in the balance beam.

Caylor hasn't earned a qualification at the Paris Olympics, since the likes of Biles, Jordan Chiles, Suni Lee are headed to the Games. But she will be present in Paris, not as a competitor but as a spectator.

According to a recent X post, Dulcy Caylor has been surprised with a trip to Paris by her parents. Her trip will be even more memorable since she got tickets to watch the WAG events as well.

Taking to her Instagram post, Dulcy Caylor announced her entry at the 2024 Summer Games with a carousel of photos. Tears rolled down her cheek in the third picture as she held the ticket in her hands, while prepping for the LA Olympics 2028 already.

"So excited to be going to watch the Olympics in Paris!🇫🇷(Note the happy tear) Ready to cheer on Team USA and be inspired for 2028!" her caption read.

Dulcy Caylor has been working towards her goal of making the Olympic team one day. Most importantly, she wants to compete in the all-around at the Olympic level, following in the footsteps of her fellow WCC gymnasts.

"Compete to my best ability and work towards my ultimate goal of making it to the Olympic All Around," said Caylor. (via USA Gymnastics)

Dulcy Caylor shares the elements she likes the most in gymnastics

Taylor recently competed at the 2024 US Olympic Trials, where she finished seventh in the uneven bars, thus missing out on her Paris opportunity. However, the determined gymnast is putting in the hard yards to see the results in the coming days. She also shared that she loves the excitement of 'flipping' in gymnastics.

"The thrill of flipping, flying and swinging. And I love to push myself and see the results of the hard work," Caylor said. (via USA Gymnastics)

At the 2024 DTB Pokal Mixed Cup, Stuttgart, Germany, Dulcy Taylor was part of the gold-winning team.
