Noah Lyles, who had an incredible Paris Olympics campaign, recently returned to his hometown of Alexandria to celebrate his accomplishments. He was joined by his girlfriend Junelle Bromfield, who was touched by the amount of love her boyfriend was shown. She took a moment to express her gratitude for being able to share the moments with Lyles.

For Lyles, his season began on a high note as he explored the shorter sprint of 60m, winning a World Indoor Championships silver in the event. From there, the American delivered multiple impeccable performances, including a dominant outing at the U.S. Olympic Trials.

The sprinter then moved on to the Paris Olympics, where he stormed to gold in the 100m after a close battle with Jamaica's Kishane Thompson. He later settled for a bronze in the 200m.

Now, Noah Lyles is back on home ground, and recently took a trip to Alexandria where he was celebrated with a victory parade. Taking to Instagram, the Olympic champion expressed his gratitude for the same, writing:

“Thank you so much @alexandriavagov I know this was last minute but it meant a lot that so many of you came out today! I can't thank you all enough for also giving us time to honor my coach Rashawn Jackson RIP.”

Junelle Bromfield shared this post to her Instagram story, along with the caption:

For Noah Lyles, the celebrations of his Paris Olympics exploits in his hometown began with a victory parade at the Chinquapin circle, before moving to the sprinter's old high school.

However, Lyles told reporters that before the celebrations began, he gave Junelle Bromfield a tour of his hometown, taking a trip down memory lane.

“I was kind of showing my girlfriend some of the places that I was living and I went through, during my childhood … It's nice to view the memory lane. When we were in high school, we’d go to Fairlington Pizza a lot … we’d finished practice, and then my coach would drive us over there, and it was cool,” he said.

Since concluding their campaigns at the Games, Noah Lyles and Junelle Bromfield are taking some time away from the track to recharge. The duo's break has seen them take a beachside vacation, walk the runway at a fashion show, and even take a trip to New York for the US Open.
