"So thankful God has answered our prayers" - Simone Biles' brother Ronald Jr. expecting second child with wife Samantha

Simone Biles' older brother Ronald Jr. announced that he and his wife Samantha are expecting their second child in mid-2025. The couple welcomed their first child in November 2022 two years after their marriage.

Ronald Jr. and Samantha have struggled with pregnancy loss, infertility, and in vitro fertilization (IVF) during their early years of marriage before the arrival of their daughter Ronni Louise Biles on November 25, 2022. Ronni is loved by Simone's fans across the world and was spotted cheering for the gymnast during the Paris Olympics as well.

The gymnast will witness the addition of another niece/nephew to her family in June 2025 as Ronald Jr. announced his wife's second pregnancy on Monday. He was elated to share the news and thanked God for blessing him with the good news.

"GOD IS GOOD!!! I’m so grateful, blessed, and excited to shared with everyone….WE’RE PREGNANT!! We are expecting our new family addition in June 2025. Sammi and I are over the moon excited and so thankful God has answered our prayers," he wrote on Instagram.

"To all our prayer warriors, family, and friends we please ask you all to continue to keep us in your prayers. We still got a ways to go, but this time around we feel very hopeful & positive," Ron Jr. added

He also expressed gratitude to his wife Samantha, thanking her for being committed to growing their family.

"I love you Sammi and I’m so happy to embark on this next chapter with you. Thanks again for keeping the faith, staying strong, enduring all you have/do, and remaining committed to growing our family. I’m sincerely so grateful, thankful, and truly blessed to have you as my wife," he added.

Ronald Jr. is the son of Simone Biles' grandfather Ronald Jr., who adopted the gymnast from foster care when she was six years old. Biles' younger sister Adria was also adopted by Ronald while two of her other siblings were adopted by their great aunt.

While Ronald Jr. and Samantha didn't travel to the Paris Olympics, the couple were cheering on Simone Biles from home alongside their baby daughter Ronni Biles, who was wearing mini versions of the gymnast's leotards to support her.

In a joint Instagram post, Ronald Jr. and Samantha proudly showed off their daughter clapping and cheering in the tiny unitard, which resembled Team USA's national flag-themed leotard for the Olympic Games.

Biles went on to win four medals at the Games to become the most decorated U.S. Olympic Gymnast in history. She won three gold medals in Team, all-around, and vault competitions before settling for silver in floor exercise.
