Noah Lyles and his fiancée and Jamaican sprinter Junelle Bromfield were among the many celebrities hitting the red carpet at the Las Vegas GP. The Olympic champion visited the F1 grid for the first time afterwards and shared his views on the similarities between F1 and sprint race starting blocks.

Lyles and Bromfield met in 2017 and remained friends for several years after their initial attempts to date failed. Their friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship in 2022, and the pair recently announced their engagement in October 2024.

The couple hit the red carpet at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Las Vegas in chic outfits. Lyles shone in a light-colored co-ord set with a beige sweater, while Bromfield wore a contrasting black dress.

Following the red carpet appearance, Lyles made his first-ever visit to the grid and compared the Formula One starting blocks with track and field. In an interview with Sky Sports, he said:

"I was talking about that. I just said to my fiancée this is so weird, you never see it in track and field, somebody coming on here and staring at you while you get into your starting blocks."

He also visited Ferrari's garage and could be seen having a laugh with Charles Leclerc.

Lyles competed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, winning the gold medal in the men's 100m in 9.79s. The 27-year-old also won a bronze medal in the 200m despite testing positive for COVID-19 a day before the final.

Noah Lyles recently started his preparations for the 2025 track and field season after ending last season early in August. Sharing a few pictures from his practice session on Instagram, he wrote:

"2025 Season ⏳"

Lyles started his 2024 season early in February at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix as he looked to get his start right over the 60m distance. He managed to break his personal best twice in the indoor season, eventually proving helpful to him in the 100m at the Paris Olympics.

While Lyles did capture the 100m title in Paris, he failed to deliver big in the 200m final with Letsile Tebogo clocking an African record of 19.46s for the gold medal. With his dominance now established over 100m, the 27-year-old is expected to shift his focus to 200m next season and might not run the indoor 60m in 2025.
