Australian swimmer Ariarne Titmus has offered a glimpse of her feature in the 2025 Nike After Dark Tour, months after she made history at the French capital. She has been a Nike athlete since the early days of her swimming career.

Titmus, a head-to-head competitor of the most decorated swimmer Katie Ledecky, won two golds in the 400m and 4x200m freestyle and silvers in the 200m and 800m freestyle events at the 2024 Summer Olympics. She also broke Mollie O'Callaghan's 200m freestyle world record by clocking 1:54.23 minutes.

The 24-year-old's 400m freestyle feat surpassed the times of Canadian standout Summer McIntosh and Katie Ledecky of the USA. Months after her Paris Olympics exploits and enjoying the off-season, the Australian swimmer dropped a Nike surprise two weeks into 2025. Her Instagram story teased her appearance in the all-women Nike After Dark Tour.

"We've been keeping a secret #TeamNike. Something exciting is here for women all over the world," Ariarne Titmus wrote.

On November 29, 2024, Titmus dropped a hint of the Nike After Dark Tour by posting a carousel of photos with other Nike-sponsored women, captioned:

"Still buzzing after an amazing day with the best bunch of women with @nike. Learning about some exciting things upcoming for the brand, hearing from some incredible women and just enjoying my time with the best crew. It’s so empowering to be surrounded by women who are doing their best to empower and inspire others."

Titmus made her Olympics debut in 2021 in Tokyo, winning the 400m freestyle by edging out Katie Ledecky and 200m freestyle by outpacing Hong Kong's Siobhan Haughey.

The Launceston-born Ariarne Titmus returned to her home state Tasmania after her Olympic success to receive the monumental honor of the Tasmanian Athlete of the Year. She made history as the only athlete who achieved it four times. In an Instagram post on December 10, 2024, she shared some memorable moments, featuring her mother Robyn Titmus, captioned:

"I was so happy to be able to return home to Tassie and be named Tasmanian Athlete of the Year for the 4th time last week 🤍 I will forever be grateful for the support I have received from my home state since having to relocate to Queensland for my swimming. I’m so proud to be Tasmanian."

Titmus was the International Swimming League's debut edition member, representing the Cali Condors swimming club. At the 2019 World Aquatics Championships, she broke the 400m freestyle Oceania record, leaving Katie Ledecky a full second behind.
