Although Miller hasn’t officially left the WCC, she is currently with the LSU Tigers as a freshman, having signed her letter of intent with the program in November 2023. She announced the end of her professional elite career via Instagram on April 29, 2024, following a shoulder injury.

Simone Biles made her withdrawal from the Tokyo Olympics 2020 after experiencing "Twisties" during the women’s team final. She cited mental health issues as the reason behind her withdrawal from multiple apparatus. The move received support as well as criticism. Zoe Miller was one of the teammates who stood by Biles as the latter went through the process of recovering and getting back to elite gymnastics.

In a February 2024 interview with International Gymnast Online, Zoe Miller revealed that Biles had doubts about her comeback, but the supportive environment at the WCC, with people like Miller and Jordan Chiles and coaches such as Cécile and Laurent Landi helping, played a key role. Miller said,

“She wasn’t sure she was going to come back. She was really unsure of herself when she first came back, but I think the environment (at WCC) and the distractions we brought to her really helped her and kept her grounded. I think we’ve helped a lot in her comeback.”

Biles silenced her critics with a remarkable performance at the Paris Olympics 2024, finishing with three golds and one silver.
