Lee, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around gold medalist in women's artistic gymnastics, accompanied Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, and Hezly Rivera on a 'redemption tour' to the 2024 Paris Olympics. She contributed scores to the team's title win and clinched bronze in the all-around and uneven bars. Though she dealt with a kidney-related issue the most of 2023, Lee busied herself with several off-mat appearances, owing to her Olympic success.

On 15 October, she attended the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and had her eyes fixed on Lisa (originally Lalisa), the Korean pop band Blackpink fame, as she performed her newest solo 'Moonlit floor'.
The Olympian took to her story to express how obsessed she was to see Lisa and called her 'queen'.

Lee recently took a Mexican vacation, gracing the beachside of Tulum in a white-and-green striped bikini.
"from tulum w love," her caption read.
Lee was also named one of Glamour's Women of the Year alongside notable personalities like Serena Williams, Allyson Felix, Pamela Anderson, Taraji P. Henson, and Sydney Sweeney.
