Suni Lee, Nastia Liukin and more athletes react as Rebecca Andrade stuns in latest Vogue cover

Suni Lee, Nastia Liukin, and other gymnasts have reacted to Rebeca Andrade’s recent feature on Vogue Brazil’s cover. Andrade had a remarkable campaign at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where she collected four medals, including one gold, two silver, and one bronze to conclude her successful journey.

At the Paris Olympics, Andrade won her first medal in the women’s all-around team event, in which the Brazilian team also consisted of Flavia Saraiva, Jade Barbosa, Lorrane Oliveira, and Julia Soares. The Brazilian squad scripted history with their performance, scoring an overall 164.497 points, which was also the country’s first medal in the discipline in the history of the Summer Games.

She then bagged silver medal in the vault and all-around event with a score of 14.966 points, finishing behind Simone Biles on both occasions. Her most impressive performance at the quadrennial games came in the floor exercise, where she claimed the title with a score of 14.166, edging out Biles, who finished second with 14.133 points.

Following this, Andrade appeared on the cover of Vogue Brazil for the second time. She shared the feature on her Instagram, first uploaded by Vogue Brasil.

Suni Lee, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics all-around champion, expressed her excitement in the comments for the cover shoot, stating:

Former gymnast and multiple Olympic medalist, including gold at the 2008 Beijing all-around event, Nastia Liukin shared her love for Andrade.

Andrade’s teammate Flavia Saraiva also commented on the post, writing:

Notably, Lee too medalled in the all-around event at the Paris Olympics as she earned the bronze with a score of 56.465 in the final. Additionally, she also won two more medals at the quadrennial games, including a gold medal in the team event and a bronze in the uneven bars.
