Olympic gymnastics champion Suni Lee recently got applauded by her compatriot, Chicago Sky player Angel Reese, when the two met at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show recently. Lee's appearance followed her historic achievement of becoming the first American gymnast to win two Olympic medals in uneven bars after her bronze medal in the event at this year's Paris Olympics.
In July, Lee participated in the second Olympic Games of her career in the French capital and played a key role in America's all-around gold victory alongside teammates Simone Biles, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey. The victory marked the United States' first gold medal in the event since the 2016 Rio Olympics. In addition, the 21-year-old Hmong American posted a score of 14.800 in uneven bars to win her second straight medal on the Olympics stage.

Following her impressive performance at the Paris Olympic, Lee wrapped up her 2024 season and embarked on a whole new adventure where she made appearances at some of the major fashion events and in top magazines like Glamour. She also took part in the New York Fashion Week and recently featured in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show where she crossed paths with Angel Reese.
Reese posted a picture from her meeting with Suni Lee on her Instagram story where the former looked radiant in a red crochet dress by Jamaican label Diotima while Lee sported a low-cut floral dress as the two posed for the camera.
"MY GOLD MEDALIST BEAUTYYYY @sunisalee," Reese wrote.
An X account, "e (rachel banham enthusiast)," posted the picture of their meetup with the caption:

In her debut appearance at the New York Fashion Week, Suni Lee was excited after working with Brian Meller. Sharing her thoughts, the two-time Olympian said:
"I'm so grateful to all the brands and designers who hosted me this season. It definitely lived up to the hype! Since this was my first fashion week, I wanted to experiment with different trends and try new things,” she says. “I'm really happy that each look felt different and had its own vibe." (via Vogue)
