US gymnast Suni Lee donned an outfit designed by Prada, an Italian luxury fashion house, and celebrated her debut appearance at the New York Fashion Week. Lee came fresh from her Paris Olympic campaign, winning the team gold and bronze in the all-around and uneven bars.
At her debut Olympic edition in 2020 Tokyo, Suni Lee won the all-around gold, silver in team competition, and bronze in the uneven bars. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she was part of the US women's gymnastics team's 'redemption tour', which earned the coveted gold. Lee also added the all-around and uneven bars to her Olympic medal tally.
Soon after her Olympic exploits, the 21-year-old landed in New York for the New York Fashion Week. In a recent Instagram post, she was snapped on the streets of NYC, wearing a checkered top, a solid mid-thigh level skirt, and pairing up with a blue floral overcoat by the Italian luxury fashion house, Prada.

Recently, she also stunned in a black sleeveless gown with a purple-and-white floral design. accessorizing it with a black Prada bag. As evident in her Instagram post, her outfit, designed by Brandon Maxwell, was part of Walmart Fashion's Scoop collection.

The Olympic gold medalist was in attendance at the 2024 US Open women's singles finals between Belarusian Aryna Sabaleka and US player Jessica Pegula. In her Instagram story, she posted a glimpse of the highly contentious match-up at the packed USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center, witnessing US home player Pegula face defeat to Sabalenka 7-5, 7-5.
Suni Lee became the first US woman to medal in the uneven bars twice
The 21-year-old Minnesota native was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease towards the beginning of 2023. Her health kept her away from gymnastics practice, compelling her to miss out on the 2023 World Championships and Pan American Games.
However, Suni Lee persevered and returned to the Paris Olympic run, starting her year with the 2024 Winter Cup. At the Paris Olympics, she bagged the team gold and bronze in the all-around and uneven bars. Suni Lee scored 14.800 in the uneven bars and solidified her position as the first US woman to medal twice in the event.
