Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone shared a heartwarming message for her husband Andre Levrone Jr. on the occasion of Thanksgiving. The former NFL player accompanied her during the 2024 Paris Olympics where she won two gold medals.
Mclaughlin-Levrone met Andre in 2020 through a social media platform and the couple instantly bonded. It was the retired football player who made the first move by sending a DM before faking a business trip for their first date in Los Angeles.
The pair got engaged in August 2021 shortly after the Tokyo Olympics where the American broke the 400m hurdles world record. They tied the knot nine months later in May 2022 and Andre has since been frequently spotted at McLaughlin-Levrone's competitions.

On the occasion of the 2024 Thanksgiving, the Olympic champion took to Instagram to express gratitude for having Andre in her life. Sharing a picture of her husband walking in front of her, she wrote:
"Beyond grateful for everything God has done 🫶✨"
The couple share a close relationship with faith and initially bonded over their common love for Christ. While McLaughlin-Levrone continues to dominate track and field, Andre is a seminary student at The Master's Seminary in Los Angeles and aspires to become a pastor in the future.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone felt 'convicted' on sharing her apartment with Andre Levrone before marriage
After their engagement in August 2021, Sydney Mclaughlin-Levrone and Andre Levrone bought an apartment in Los Angeles to live together. While they lived in separate bedrooms, the Olympic champion was worried about not following what the Bible had taught her.
The 25-year-old recalled the incident in her 2024 memoir 'Far Beyond Gold: Running from Fear to Faith', writing:
"'Is this right?' I asked Andre, not for the first time. 'Should we be sharing an apartment before we are married? I truly feel convicted about this, and it has not eased up at all."
The four-time Olympic champion explained why they decided to live separately until they got married.
"Most people in this modern world don’t have a problem with sharing a bed or sleeping together before marriage. But Andre and I had committed to saving both of those things until our wedding day. From the beginning of our relationship, Andre and I both confessed that we had fallen short in the past when it came to our sexual purity," Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone added
The couple moved back to living together after their wedding in May 2022. The ceremony was held at the Early Mountain Vineyards and was attended by their close friends and family members.
