Amid the holiday season, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Quincy Wilson were pleasantly surprised by a thoughtful gesture from New Balance, adding an extra touch of cheer to their festivities. Both the athletes represented the American squad at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

McLaughlin-Levrone signed a deal with New Balance after turning pro as a 19-year-old, following her freshman season at the University of Kentucky. Meanwhile, Quincy Wilson became one of the youngest American athletes to sign an NIL deal when he accepted New Balance's agreement in September 2023.

At the Paris Games, McLaughlin-Levrone defended her two titles in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay events. Wilson, on the other hand, bagged a gold medal in the men's 4x400m relay race. Although he did not compete in the final round, Wilson ran the first leg of the race in the earlier rounds and split a time of 47.27 seconds.

Amid the holiday season and the conclusion of the 2024 year, both New Balance athletes received Meta Quest 3, a virtual reality headset. A note with the gift read:

"Congratulations on your incredible Olympic achievement. We are proud to have you representing New Balance at the highest level and look forward to continued success in 2025!"

McLaughlin-Levrone shared the picture of her gift on her Instagram story and wrote:

"Thank you NB fam," adding a heart.
