Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone has revealed the topic she would give a TED talk on if she were to get the opportunity. The American athlete recently concluded her Paris Olympics campaign with two gold medals.
McLaughlin-Levrone stood atop the podium in the 400m hurdles, where she broke the world record with a time of 50.37s and defeated Anna Cockrell and Femke Bol. The 25-year-old also dominated at the 4x400m relay event with her team, which included Shamier Little, Gabby Thomas, and Alexis Holmes, and they posted a time of 3:15.27.
The American athlete will soon be participating in the Grand Slam Track, an event launched by track and field legend Michael Johnson that will take place in 2025. The event's Instagram page recently shared a video of some athletes who spoke about topics on which they would give a TED Talk if given the chance. One of them was Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, who gave a hilarious response to the question.

Along with McLaughlin-Levrone, Kenny Bednarek, Yared Naguse, Cole Hocker, and many other athletes also shared their answers to the question.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone opens up about competing in Grand Slam Track
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone recently spoke about competing in Grand Slam Track after her performance at the 2024 Brussels Diamond League. She said that it would be fun for her to compete in two events in Grand Slam Track and witness the growth of the sport.
"Yeah, I think it'll be fun. Honestly, being able to do two events and kind of just challenge yourself also using some of those as training blocks, I think it's just going to be really cool to see that dynamic and see the sport grow in popularity. So, I'm excited to be a part of that in any way,” said Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
She also spoke about challenging herself by stating the possibility of doubling up in 200m and 400m instead of 400m and 400m hurdles. She said:
"It's always a possibility absolutely. So, I think yeah that's the exciting thing is I'm blessed with the ability kind of to switch some of these events and do different things and so yeah love challenging myself that's definitely a possible duo right there.”
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone currently holds four Olympic gold medals, of which two she won at the Tokyo Olympics and two at the Paris Olympics.
