Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone showed off her acrylic nails ahead of the 2025 track season. McLaughlin-Levrone triumphed at the 2024 Paris Olympics, walking home with wins in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay.
McLaughlin-Levrone became the first track and field woman to run below the 52-second and 51-second barrier in the 400m hurdles. She also etched her name as the first track athlete to break four world records in 13 months from June 2021 to July 2022. At the Paris Games, she broke her 400m hurdles world record for the sixth time, clocking 50.37s in the finals.
Following the Games, she shared her Greek vacation fits and graced talk shows like 'The Jennifer Hudson Show' and 'The Today Show,' besides featuring in her partner brand campaigns. After ringing in New Year's, the four-time Olympic gold medalist took to her Instagram story to share a picture of her new acrylic nails by a California-based studio, Nail Artique.
She captioned the picture with a star emoji.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone kicked off her 2024 Olympic season with a 200m win at the Los Angeles Grand Prix, following it up with a 400m victory at the New York Grand Prix. She continued her momentum at the US Olympic Trials, breaking the 400m hurdles world record for the fifth time, clocking 50.65s before lowering her time to 50.37s in the Paris finals.
In honor of her success, the hurdler's partner brand New Balance gifted her Meta Quest 3, a virtual reality headset, and a note reading.

McLaughlin-Levrone shared the picture in her Instagram story and wrote:

The 400m hurdles world record holder kicked off her Olympic journey at the Tokyo Olympics, taking gold in the 400m and 4x400m relay events. She defended both her titles in Paris and broke her own world record. In an interview with World Athletics on December 20, 2024, the 25-year-old shared her plans for the next Olympic edition, expressing excitement about competing in her 'backyard'.
"It’s super-exciting to be able to have the Games in LA, where I’m training right now. I drive by the Coliseum at times and imagine what it is going to look like during the Olympics. I hope LA is going to be prepared for that moment. I know it will be. It’s a really special opportunity to have the Olympics in our backyard.”
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone won the World Athletics Female Athlete of the Year in 2024 for her success.
