Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall recently attended the Thundergong charity event on Saturday, November 9. This comes just a few months after Davis-Woodhall and Woodhall concluded their 2024 track season with gold medals at the Olympics and Paralympics, respectively.
Following this immense success, the couple recently took a step to raise funds for amputees by attending a charity event. They shared glimpses of their time at the event in a video on their joint account, "The Woodhalls."
In the video, Davis-Woodhall can be seen wearing a white top with denim jeans, dancing cheerfully to a Chappell Roan song while her husband donned a black outfit.
The event was also attended by numerous other prominent Hollywood artists such as Flavor Flav, Brendan Hunt, and Jason Sudeikis. Here's what the Woodhall couple wrote in their caption:
"I hope they play hot to go #thundergongcharity"
The Thunder Gong Charity is organized by the Steps of Faith Foundation, a non-profit organization that aims to help amputees with their prosthetic care. As per reports from Pulse Sports Kenya, the event was immensely successful, raising a total of 827,662 USD.
Tara Davis Woodhall's husband, Hunter Woodhall, is a double amputee himself, having gone through an operation at the age of 11 months. Since then, he has competed in three Paralympics, bagging five medals in the event.
Tara Davis-Woodhall opens up about her move to Kansas with her husband Hunter Woodhall
Tara Davis-Woodhall recently shed light on her move to Kansas just a few days after her gold medal victory at the Paris quadrennial event.

The American long-jumper also mentioned that she prefers the countryside of the United States in comparison to the big metropolitan and populated cities. She said:
"Hunter and I thought it was best to follow him and continue our track career because we want to go to L.A. Olympics 2028. I like the country, I like not being in a big city — it's not my thing."
Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall themselves were announced as assistant coaches at Kansas State University under the guidance of their coach, Geopfert. They will have the opportunity to work with the university's young aspiring athletes.
