American track and field stars Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall recently revealed the song that best described their love story. Both Tara and Hunter gained worldwide prominence during the 2024 Paris Olympics when Tara ran to the stands and jumped into Hunter’s arms after winning the gold medal in women’s long jump.
About a month later, the duo once again made headlines when Tara was present at the Stade de France stadium for the Paris Paralympics to cheer on her husband Hunter. They once again shared a heartwarming moment when Hunter claimed his first-ever gold medal in the Summer Paralympics in the men’s 400m T62 final.
Following these moments, the power couple's popularity has increased globally, with Tara, Hunter, and their shared Instagram account amassing over 1.1 million, 800,000, and 650,000 followers, respectively. Recently, Tara and Hunter shared the song that best describes their love story during an interview with iHeartRadio, the American freemium broadcast, podcast, and radio streaming platform, where Tara said:
“I mean, our first dance was ‘Biblical’ by Calum Scott. That describes our love story for sure.”
It is worth noting that Biblical, an epic love music, was released on June 11 in 2021.
Although both Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall won their first gold medals at the Paris Olympics and Paralympics, it wasn’t their debut appearance at the quadrennial event. Tara made her Olympic debut at the Tokyo Games where she finished sixth in the long jump. On the other hand, Hunter had already competed in both the Rio and Tokyo Paralympics, where he earned three medals, including one silver and two bronze.
Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall attempt the ‘Upside Down’ challenge
Following successful Paris Olympics and Paralympics campaigns, Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall tried out the new trend which has been going viral over a few days on social media. The couple shared their attempt of doing the ‘Upside Down’ challenge on their joint Instagram handle, captioning the post:
“She was so nervous 😂😂”
The athletics couple did the challenge while still wearing their Olympic and Paralympic gold medals around their necks. Notably, after meeting each other at a track meet in Idaho in 2017 where their love story began, Tara and Hunter exchanged vows in 2022 in Texas.
