Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband, Hunter Woodhall, chronicled the couple's tight daily schedule after the Paris Olympics. The couple clinched their maiden Olympic golds at the Paris Games.
Tara Davis-Woodhall kicked off her 2024 season with a victory in the long jump at the World Indoor Championships. She continued her momentum at the US Olympic Trials, winning the long jump by reaching 7m to advance to the Paris Olympics.
In the Paris finals, she improved her mark to 7.10m to take the first Olympic gold of her career. Shortly after, her husband Hunter Woodhall, a Paralympian sprinter, clinched his maiden Olympic gold in the 400m T62 at the Summer Paralympic Games.
Having achieved success, the couple has busied themselves with special appearances as the reigning Olympic champions, traveling constantly for shoots or fashion events. In a recent Instagram post by the Woodhalls, Tara Davis-Woodhall's husband offered a glimpse of a busy day.
"Pretty much how most of the days have gone since we got back from the Olympics. Our day always starts with training. So, today we ended up in the weight room around 8.30 a.m. and we lifted for about an hour and a half before heading over to the track for the second workout of the day.
Hunter Woodhall continued explaining the second part of their workout routine and said:
And this is actually my first day of the year sprinting, which is why we're doing wickets, to build the foundation for what will come later in the season. After that, we head back to the weight room to finish our lift with core, a little bit of dancing, and then auxiliary lifts."
He further spoke about their travel plans and said:
"After about four hours of training, it's time to head home, unpack our bags, and repack our bags, as well as getting ready.. And then it's time to make some lunch to refuel. While that's going, I'll take the dogs out to get them some exercise before we head to the airport and get on another plane. Honestly, there's no guessing where we're going to end up, but today we're traveling to New York. We got to the hotel super late, got some food, and hit the set.
Hunter Woodhall also won the mixed 4x400m relay in Paris.
