Tara Davis-Woodhall on having similar goals as her husband
Tara Davis-Woodhall spoke about having goals similar to her husband in an interview with Olympics.com. The American athlete revealed how a similar thought process helps them to support each other and succeed in their pursuits towards achieving their goals.
"We have one thing on our mind and that's winning and being the best versions of ourselves. So when one of us isn't there, the other one hypes them up and holds them accountable of like, 'Hey, let's do this. Let's be there for each other and let's go to practice. This is just a bad day'. And when that's happening, it's like you can't do anything but succeed," she said.
Furthermore, their constant encouragement and challenging attitude during their training sessions have been a driving force to help them let go of the thought process of having limits while preparing to compete at the international level.
