A look at Suni Lee's performance so far in the 2024 Olympic year
Suni Lee returned to the gymnastics mat after her recovery from kidney issues at the 2024 Winter Cup, held in February at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville.
Lee aimed to get a full-twisting laid-out Jaeger element on the uneven bars named after her. However, her performance was met with much disappointment after she stumbled twice on the bars and once on the balance beam.
Later, the American gymnast competed at the 2024 U.S. Core Hydration Classic, the final qualifying event for the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships. Suni Lee collected 13.150 points in the vault, 14.600 points in the balance beam, and 13.000 points in the floor routine.
The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships is the last step before the 2024 U.S. Olympic Trials.
