Riley Gaines minced no words in criticising trans activists disrupting a conference in favor of homosexual individuals. The conference was held under the banner of the LGB Alliance, which wished to talk about how the trans ideology was harming the homosexuals overall.
However, in a bizarre move, the trans activists released a swarm of bugs, including crickets, mealworms, and cockroaches at the conference, so that the conference would not be held. This drew immense criticism on the social media from almost every corner, including Gaines.
The 24-year-old former NCAA swimmer reposted a video of the incident on her X account [formerly Twitter], as she wrote:
"These terrorists can’t engage in a meaningful discussion about the harms of gender ideology, so they resort to releasing swarms of bugs. Hopefully they were jailed, but seems doubtful."
Gaines had previously criticized a school in Maine for remaining silent on a transgender student attacking a girl. According to the reports, nothing was done by the school administration to stop the attack, which left the girl injured, along with concussion and vision impairment.
Gaines criticized the administration severely as she wrote,
"Wow. A father calls into a radio station to describe the horrific attack his daughter faced by a boy on the school bus. SHE was then suspended. Watch the administrators do NOTHING to stop him. Every legal action should be pursued against them."
Riley Gaines is campaigning against proposed changes to Title IX, which aims to provide additional security to transgender athletes. However, according to Gaines and other activists, the changes are only making things worse for female athletes throughout the USA.
Riley Gaines on winning a legal battle against the University of New Mexico for viewpoint discrimination
Riley Gaines had faced a similar case at the University of New Mexico, where the authorities demanded a bizarre security amount of $10000 for just presenting her views.
Gaines explained the situation in the video she posted on her X account [formerly Twitter],
"A major win for the free speech, especially for the conservative voices. Last year, the University of New Mexico invited me to speak on the college campus about the gender ideology movement. Naturally, in an attempt to not get me to come to the college, the university charged me almost $10000 as security fees. I kind of just complied because I thought this was normal but I was wrong.”
“I realized that this is a tactic that a lot of universities do to conservative voices. The same hefty fees was not applied to the speakers who had opposing viewpoints to me. A few weeks after, UNM brought a bunch of drag queens, and guess how much they paid in security fees. That’s right, zero dollars", Gaines further added.
Riley Gaines has been working for the cause of keeping transgenders away from the women's sports. The former NCAA swimmer had stormed to limelight when fought a legal battle to keep transgender swimmer Lia Thomas out from the international swimming events.
She succeeded when World Aquatics issued an order, denying transgender swimmers a chance to participate in elite women events from June 2022 onwards.
