"They always want the shot" - Ilona Maher portrays her encounter with paparazzi in a hilarious manner

Ilona Maher, fresh off a packed four-month stint on Dancing with the Stars and a cozy Thanksgiving celebration, was spotted stepping out for snacks. She humorously quipped about being found by paparazzi wherever she goes.

The Olympic bronze medalist recently secured second place on Dancing with the Stars. After a well-deserved break, she has returned to the Bristol Bears and is expected to compete in the 2025 Rugby World Cup.

While taking a break for a snack, the 28-year-old humorously pointed out that paparazzi found her everywhere, gesturing toward a pigeon perched on a nearby table, seemingly watching her.

She shared the amusing video on Instagram, captioning it,

"Paparazzi, find me wherever I go."

She then joked:

"They followed me. They always want the shot"

Ilona Maher recently signed a three months contract with the Bristol Bears and will compete for the team from January 2025.

Fresh from her packed schedule at the 2024 Paris Olympics and Season 33 of DWTS, Ilona Maher has resumed rugby training with the Bristol Bears.

Maher also recently appeared on First We Feast, a show where celebrities answer questions while trying increasingly spicy chicken wings, and posted a video snippet on Instagram on December 3. The Olympian shared quirky answers with her signature humor and reflected on her Paris Olympics experience.

In response to a question about the longest she's gone without showering, Maher shared that she showers daily but skips washing her hair during rugby tournaments, sometimes going four or five days without it.

When asked about the three worst things about staying in Paris for two weeks, she recalled the discomfort of sleeping on a cardboard bed, the overwhelming number of croissants, and how, in the end, there can be such a thing as 'too much fun' in Paris.

The host also asked her:

"What is your pre-game superstition?"(2:11 onwards)

"I talk to myself a lot before games, and I hit myself on the chest to try to get me amped up," she said.

Ilona Maher is set to play in the 2025 Premiership Women's Rugby League. The PWR Final will take place on March 16 at StoneX Stadium in London.
